Step 1

Install and extract AOKP 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Custom ROM for the HTC One V Smartphone on your PC.

Step 2

Then Plug HTC One V device to your PC and copy downloaded file to SD card.

Step 3

Also copy directory having boot.img to -sdk-windowsplatform-tools

Step 4

Switch off your HTC Once V Smartphone.

Step 5

Now you are required to boot your device into Bootloader mode. For this, turn on device while pressing and holding Volume Down + Power Button.

Step 6

Into fastboot mode, you are required to navigate directory of ‘-sdk-windowsplatform-tools’ and open CMD by pressing Shift + Right Click.

Step 7

Now enter following command:

fastboot flash boot boot.img

Step 8

After then put another command in CMD and press enter:

fast boot reboot

Step 9

Now select BOOTLOADER option and go to RECOVERY.

Step 10

Leading to ClockworkMod recovery, you need to wipe existing data and scroll down to navigate flash zip from SD card.

Step 11

By pressing Power button twice, one can select Zip from SD card.

Step 12

Now navigate and install 4.2.1 ROM zip file, using Volume keys along with Power button.

Step 13

Once installation gets completed, you need to access +++++Go Back and then reboot HTC One V Smartphone device from Recovery Menu.
