The latest custom ROM titled Avatar ROM is available to download for Motorola Droid Razr HD XT926 Android phone. It supports Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It is un-branded custom ROM and not released officially by Motorola. This Custom ROM can be installed through only ClockworkMod method.

Pre-Requisites

- We often advise a complete backup of your Razr HD XT926 device data (apps, settings, photos, contacts and others) before installing this custom ROM.
- Enable USB debugging on your Razr HD XT926 device.
- Always confirm the battery of Razr HD XT926 device is charged completely before installing custom ROM. If you have started the custom ROM installation process with low battery power then your device may be dead sudden.

How to update Motorola Droid Razr HD XT926 Android 4.1.2 Avatar ROM:
Step 1
Download both zip files to your computer and don’t extract it.
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Avatar ROM zip file
Google Apps zip file
Step 2
Connect Droid Razr HD XT926 device to your computer with the USB cable.
Step 3
Now copy both downloaded zip files (see in step 1) and paste it to root the folder of your XT926 device’s memory card.
Step 4
Download ROM Manager app from Google Play Store.
Step 5
Start ROM Manager app to your XT926 device and tap on Reboot into Recovery option to go into Recovery mode.
Step 6
In ClockworkMod recovery mode, at first, you have to delete all data. Then scroll down to “flash zip from SDcard” menu and press the power button to select it.
Press the Power button another time and select “choose zip from sdcard” menu.
Step 7
Now find the Avatar ROM zip file from memory card by using volume up and down keys. Then select it with the Power button. Next you need to verify on the next screen with the purpose to begin. The installation process will start and take about 20 minutes to finish.
Remark- Repeat the above mentioned same step for selecting the Google Apps zip files also from memory card.
Step 8
Once the installation process finished, go to “+++++Go Back” menu and restart the XT926 device by selecting “reboot system now” menu from the recovery mode screen. The XT926 device will restart now, and it will boot to first time around 5 minutes. So, keep patience.
