Nano-SIM cards, a challenge for iPhone 5 users

Apple sponsored  iPhone 5 ( fifth-generation of iPhone)  handset  is to be launched in September 2012.  iPhone 5 will come with dual-core A5 processor and 8 mega pixel camera with high-resolution. Amazing facts about iPhone 5 is it will be accessed through Nano-SIM. It has been developed by European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in 2012.

Although micro-SIM was set up already with Apple iPad tablets and iPhone 4 smartphone in 2012. Structure of Nano-SIM is quite minor. It allows mobile maker company to keep less space for SIM for the purpose of building thinner phones.

Most used standard  SIM card has been transformed to micro-SIM via SIM cutter. But same process could not be possible with Nano-SIM.  Because Nano-SIM is 15 percent thinner than generally most used standard Mobile SIM. Dimension of Nano-SIM has been measured, and it is between 0.67 mm to 0.76 mm.

In India, Apple supported business partners Airtel and Aircel is also liking to give more supports in order to implementation of nano—SIM for iPhone 5. But Apple users will have to face a very big challenge when they will have iPhone 5, because the production of Nano-SIM is under consideration.
