KB4571756 Windows 10 Build 19042.508 (20H2) Changes and fixes

KB4571756 Windows 10 Build 19042.508 Changelog –

Patch Tuesday security update approaches a problem with a possible elevation of privilege in windowmanagement.dll.

In addition, the package fixed a security vulnerability problem that occurs with user proxies and HTTP-based intranet servers. Subsequent to receiving this, HTTP-based intranet servers will be unable to leverage a user proxy by default to catch updates. Scans via these servers will not work in the situation the clients do not have a configured system proxy. In case, you have the necessity to leverage a user proxy, you must modify the behavior through the Windows Update policy that states – “Allow user proxy to be used as a fallback if detection using system proxy fails”. This modification does not affect customers who obtain their WSUS servers with TLS or SSL protocols. To get the full detail, read Improving security for devices receiving updates via WSUS.

This patch contains Security updates to total Windows and Microsoft components.
