Microsoft is rolling out 2 builds today – one for Dev Channel, Windows 10 Build 20226.1000 and another for Beta and Release Preview. The later is a cumulative update KB4577063 for the upcoming Major update. Yes, this is WIndows 10 20H2 Build 19042.546 that includes 2 new fixes in addition to the fixes in 19042.541. The same LCU was rolled out for the previous version.
The Insiders running the upcoming Windows 10 October 2020 Update version 2009 will receive KB4577063. They are currently in Beta and release preview channels.

Here are Windows 10 Build 19042.546 (KB4577063) 20H2 fixes –
- We fixed an issue that prevents a device from entering Modern Standby.
- We fixed a reliability issue in Microsoft Edge that occurs when you open multiple windows or tabs.
The current update has some small corrections. As usual, this optional update works for both versions – Windows 10 2004 and for Windows 10 20H2. The only thing is the 20H2 is only installed as an enablement package with a small update ( KB4562830 ).
How to download and install the 20H2 Build
- Open Windows Settings
- Select the – Update & Security from the app homepage.
- Click the – Check for updates going to the right pane of the Windows Update Settings page.
