Apart from the Security patches like KB5018410, KB5018427, and other, an optional update also arrived yesterday. This is KB5019509 that came to the Release Preview channel insider and increased the version to Windows 11 Build 22621.675.
Full name of this patch is 2022-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019509) where x64 can be replaced with ARM64 to support the system architecture. Let’s see what is new in the release –

New Features
- The build brings enhancements in File Explorer. Tabs in File Explorer allow you to handle the sessions as you do in Microsoft Edge. On the new homepage, you can pin necessary files for easy and quick access. Equipped with the power of OneDrive, you can view your colleagues’ actions on your shared files. Moreover, the company will also provide personalized advice based on your Microsoft 365 account.
- KB5019509 LCU adds a feature called Suggested Actions for items that you copy. This feature is available for customers in 3 countries the Mexico, United States, and Canada. Let’s understand, when you copy phone numbers or future dates, suggestions like make a call with Teams or Skype or add an event in the Calendar app will appear.
- The build will show a taskbar overflow menu. In “Windows 11 Build 22621.675” RP Channel, the taskbar will provide an entry point to a menu that displays you all your overflowed applications in one space.
- This build has arranged to share to more devices. Now, after installing KB5019509 you will be able to find out and share to additional devices, including desktops, using a nearby sharing.
