The renowned tool Registry Finder gets a new version with several modifications, improvements, and fixes. This utility has added the ability to create registry values of arbitrary type, Refresh command to list view context menu, functionality for navigating to a key in PowerToys Run, and many more. Registry Finder 2.58 is the version you can update to.
In case, you don’t desire to work with the keyboard, you can now install the Update via the context menu in the registry list view. You no longer have to bother to go to the View menu. Registry Finder 2.58 changes
- Implemented the capability to create registry values of arbitrary type.
- The “Change Type” command is accessible for the default value, even if no value has been assigned.
- Added Refresh command to the registry list view context menu.
- Included functionality for navigating to a key in PowerToys Run when Registry Finder replaces regedit.
- Implemented the capability to rename registry keys in an offline registry.
- Repaired the ineffectiveness of the Change Type|Binary command.
- Resolved the issue of crashing when attempting to make registry changes in cases where the undo history was improperly edited or corrupted.
- Corrected the inaccurate value displayed in the Date Modified column in the right pane of the Registry tab while operating in Windows 7/8 compatibility mode.
- Resolved the issue where when a Find Results window was reused for subsequent searches, the tab title retained text from the initial search.
- Resolved the issue where inaccessible keys were not displaying the stop sign image in the right pane.
