Microsoft has released June 2020 firmware update for Surface Pro X device manager. The updates are for Qualcomm(R) Adreno(TM) 680 GPU, “Qualcomm(R) Aqstic(TM)”, “Qualcomm(R) Aqstic™, Qualcomm(R) Hexagon(TM) 690 DSP”, “Qualcomm(R) Hexagon(TM) 690 DSP”, “Qualcomm(R) Memory and File System Device”, “Qualcomm(R) System Manager Device”, “Qualcomm(R) Wi-Fi B/G/N/AC (2×2) Svc, Surface Pro X Qualcomm(R) Aqstic(TM)”, “Surface Qualcomm(R) Aqstic(TM)”, “Surface System Aggregator”, and “Surface UEFI”. Some of the patches resolve audio, battery and bugcheck issue which you can see in the following table.
To download the June 2020 firmware update, enter Windows update in taskbar search and select best match. Click on Check for updates on the next Settings page. Select Restart if already downloaded.

The patches are available Surface Pro X devices powered with at least Windows 10 October 2018 Update, version 1809.
Before installation, you must remember that Surface Firmware updates can’t be uninstalled or returned back to an earlier version.
- Restart the device to finalize the installation process.
- For this, select the Start, and then Power => Restart.
