KB5001263 Windows 10 20H2 and 2004 Setup Dynamic Update

New Setup Dynamic update KB5001263 is released to Windows 10 2004 and 20H2.

A little while ago Windows 10 20H2 and v2004 has got feature update patch KB5000802. Now on Patch Tuesday, 09 March 2021 KB5001263 is released to the same versions to improve the Setup installation experience.

Microsoft titled the rollout as Setup Dynamic Update which is available via Windows update.

The push is aimed to simplify the setup installation experience and nothing else is included in the update.

How to install this dynamic update

  1. Press Windows logo key and type – updates.
  2. Click – Check for updates.
  3. Furthermore, you can download the patch using the direct download link from the Microsoft update catalog site. Install the same using the Setup file.

You don’t have to restart your computer for the implementation of this patch.

This release will substitute the earlier released update KB5000751.
